What we collect

- name and job title;
- contact information including email, phone number, address and place of work as well as contact information for any recipient or sender of a Package;
- information about the requested Journey (e.g. pick up/drop off addresses) or any Package to be collected or sent;
- name of passengers and any specific travel requirements such as disability requirements, whether minors are travelling, VIP status or any other information contained in the Booking Request (with respect to ground transportation services) or in the Specific Details (with respect to the supply of a dedicated driver);
- credit or debit card details;
- demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests; and
- other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.
What we do with the information we gather
We may use this information for the following purposes:
- to set up and administer your account;
- to carry out our obligations arising from any bookings that you have made with us or other services provided to you;
- to communicate with you;
- to investigate any complaints or queries with respect to our website or services;
- to conduct surveys and market research;
- to improve and develop our website and other products and services and provide you with details of our promotions, products and services (where we have the appropriate permissions to do so);
- to gather management information to form statistical and trend analysis; and

We may also use a live time GPS tracker system in order to ensure that your Journey is as efficient as possible which we will monitor from our office.
The UK Data Protection Act 1998 gives special protection to sensitive personal data which will include information about a passenger’s health. We may collect information about a passenger’s disabilities so we can provide a better service and make any necessary adjustments to our vehicles and the Journey. By using our services, you agree that we may process data about your health for these purposes. If you are providing this information on behalf of others, please make sure you have their permission to share such information.
In the event that the business is sold or integrated with another business, your details will be disclosed to our advisors and any prospective purchaser’s advisors and will be passed to the new owners of the business.
We may also disclose your information when we believe that it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce or apply our terms and conditions or other policies or to protect the rights, property and safety of Capstar, our clients and others.
We may employ the services of a third party to help us in certain areas, such as when that third party provides the dedicated driver or chauffeuring services on our behalf, or for website hosting and maintenance. In some cases, the third party may receive your information. However, at all times, we will control and be responsible for the use of your information.
Marketing communications
As stated above, we may use your email address information to periodically send you promotional material about our new products and services or special offers which we think may be of interest to you. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online, by email, over the phone and in person. How we use cookies
